Workspaces
What owns your sources, workflows, ontology, and history.
What it is
A workspace is the boundary around everything you do in Semogram: data connections, workflows, ontology, skills, runs, and feedback. People who share a workspace share the same state, history, and evidence.
What it holds
- Connected sources and destinations.
- Workflows with their drafts, versions, and run history.
- The ontology definition and its materialized runtime state.
- Installed skills and their versions.
- The feedback record: every approval, correction, and rejection.
How it relates
- Workflows read only sources connected to their workspace.
- Predictions trace to evidence inside the same workspace.
- Feedback improves the workspace it was given in — corrections teach your future runs, not anyone else's.
- Official, Semogram-published capabilities arrive through a shared system registry and get installed into your workspace from there.
What this means for you
- Put one real area of responsibility in a workspace before adding a second.
- If something is missing (a source, a skill, a reference), install it into the workspace that needs it — missing pieces resolve where the work happens.
